About Pakka Electrical
Hey there 👋 — welcome to Pakka Electrical.
This blog started back in 2012 as a simple place to share electrical engineering study material, and over the years it's grown into a go-to spot for exam aspirants preparing for PSU and government electrical engineering roles — think CIL, TSGENCO, TSTRANSCO, SPDCL, NPDCL, SSC JE, and similar exams.
The whole idea behind "Pakka Electrical" is right there in the name — pakka means "solid" or "for real" in Hindi/Telugu, and that's exactly the goal: solid, no-fluff prep material. Real MCQs, real previous papers, real explanations — not recycled content dumped from a PDF with zero context.
What you'll find here
- Topic-wise MCQs covering Power Systems, Machines, Control Systems, and more
- Previous year question papers for GENCO, TRANSCO, SSC JE, and other exams
- Free practice quizzes with instant answer explanations
- Notifications and updates on upcoming recruitment exams
- Book recommendations for exam preparation
Who's behind this
Pakka Electrical is run by Ganesh, an electrical engineering enthusiast who's been through the same exam-prep grind as many of you reading this — and started this blog to make that process a little less painful for the next batch of aspirants.
This is very much a work in progress — new quizzes, updated papers, and cleaner content are added regularly. If something's outdated, broken, or just plain wrong, let us know in the comments or through the Contact page — genuinely appreciated.
